We know that no one likes legalese, so this page gives you the quick version of park rules. If you have any questions or want more detail, check here for a very thorough explanation of what is and isn't allowed in our parks.
All AIPRD parks are open daily 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., year-round, unless otherwise posted. No overnight parking or camping is permitted except by permit.
Yes, that means buildings, signs, bridges, trails, handrails, equipment, and anything else you can think of. Yes, that means breaking, vandalizing, removing, mutilating, cutting, or hauling away.
No hunting, trapping, harming, or disturbing the wildlife...that includes you, your companions, and your pets.
Only burn fires in designated fire pits, follow burn ban rules and don't leave fire unattended.
Leave them at home...they are prohibited.
Seriously, don't bring them.
All parks have a strict NO SMOKING policy. Alcohol and drugs are illegal to possess, consume or sell in parks.
Don't litter, don't disturb others, and be kind to our parks. If you really need more details on this, read the Park Use Code.
No solicitation or signs of any kind.
About half of AIPRD parks restrict access to dogs. You can read more about dogs in our parks here. Please read the detailed rules on bringing your dogs.
Limit yourself to swimming where it is designated and please be properly attired.
Keep motorized vehicles in parking areas during park hours and remove them overnight.
Non-motorized vehicles, including cycles, scooters, rollerblades, and skateboards are prohibited (excluding wheelchairs).
Bikes are ONLY allowed on the Jane Cammon Hike & Bike Trails, with detailed rules listed here.
